We

We are a counseling center (psychological, family, educational and social).

We are also a center for studies and research (psychological, family, educational and social).

We provide our services in several living languages.

When did we start?

The House of Counseling was launched twenty years ago as the first center to provide family counseling and prepare young men and women for marriage, and as the second non-pharmacological psychological counseling center. It started strong, providing many services that are still continuing, thanks to God.

It was supported by a center for studies and research that took care of two basic aspects:

Building psychological standards because of their major role in diagnosing psychological, family, and professional problems.

Psychological studies and research with the aim of uncovering factors associated with psychological, family and professional problems.

Appropriate training to prevent these problems.

Tasks and roles carried out by the counseling house

Given that counseling is that professional human relationship that exists between an individual or group on the one hand and a specialized guide on the other hand, and its goal is to help the individual or group make a decision related to the subject of the relationship, therefore the roles and tasks that the center can undertake are:

Providing psychological counseling to individuals who suffer from psychological problems to help them solve these problems.

Providing marital counseling to couples who are suffering from problems, with the aim of reducing divorce cases and the resulting losses on many levels.

Providing counseling for those about to get married.

Providing training courses for those approaching marriage with the aim of increasing each party’s awareness of the psychology of the other party.

Providing training courses for couples to strengthen the positive relationships that exist between them with the aim of reducing the manifestations of marital stagnation, which have become widespread in society at the present time.

Providing training courses for parents on how to deal with their children at different ages, starting from childhood and ending with youth.

Providing special training courses for families who have children with special needs, such as (deaf children, blind children, mentally retarded children, autistic children, people with multiple disabilities, people with physical deformities, etc.). Implementing this mission requires providing assistance to parents to learn how to deal with these children and take their hand, through continuing educational training courses in addition to group counseling sessions, workshops, or research seminars. This is because this role is a humanitarian and Islamic role, especially if we know that the percentage of children with special needs totals 10% and perhaps more.

Receiving a child from this category is a shock for the parents, and the family climate may be disturbed and appear in the form of excessive tenderness or excessive cruelty, which may double the disturbance of these children, adding to their disability the disturbance of their families. Not to mention that children with special needs have every right to life, and if we contribute to guiding their parents, this life will be normal and productive.

Training psychological and social workers in the field of counseling on family counseling.

Preparing studies and research on family problems and how to confront them.

Conducting studies and research on the problems experienced by some government agencies, institutions and private companies.
